Chapter 1
"I Dare You To Dream of Something Fabulous"
EARLY CHILDHOOD When Kim was a child she use to daydream a lot to escape from her overwhelming life. She would just simply go, to her made-up life, her happy place filled with a bright blue sky, white fluffy clouds, fresh green grass, bright yellow sunflowers, and red, blue, yellow balloons.
Kim, Kim! her teach screamed out her name. Her dream would end like a popped balloon. Her teacher would report these episodes,to her parents, as if she had some kind of mental illness. Dreaming is a gift that should be honored and respected, you see children are our future.
PRETEEN YEARS Kim's shares her dream for the first time with a friend. Kim and her best friend Linda made a fort with blankets and clothespins on Linda's front porch. Kim remembers that day very clear, because she loves the sound and smell of rain and that day the rain was a misty drizzle. After they were done making their fort, they sat inside and quietly listened to the sound of the car tires driving over the wet street. She still loves that sound today, what a comforting feeling the sound of rain is for her. Little did she know, this was the beginning of the many lessons that she would teach herself about making her dreams come true. At the age of nine, under that fort, she talked for hours about one of her dreams. She wanted to move to California and enjoy that big beautiful ocean.
TEEN YEARS At the age of fifteen years old, she started making different choices then the average teen her age. Very quickly, she started experiencing the fruits of her labor, so she went in guns blazing and started setting and achieving goals.
She fell in in love and experienced her first unhealthy relationship and dropped out of high school, but she immediately decided to go back. This time she decided to do it differently. She decided to attended an advanced school that offers special instruction and programs not available at other schools. This school had the students dress up in business attire everyday to prepare them for a cooperative program with businesses that would allow the students to work for them during the students senior year. Finally, all those years of daydreaming felt like they were beginning to come true again. It was like someone had open the gates of heaven for her with the harps blaring. It was not the special school she went to, or the job they assisted her with that gave her this feeling of accomplishment.
It was discovering that there truly is a different way of life beyond the community that was suffocating her.
EARLY ADULTHOOD What she did not expect was that she would have to fight her demons in order to keep her dreams alive.

Chapter 2
Only You Control You - no one else's opinion matters Anymore!
Given up to foster care at birth, there was never any maternal bonding for Kim, and to a certain degree this has contributed to the development of her personality and her spirit. You see, the events in her early childhood have been stamped into Kim's personality. And as an adult these traumatic experiences have created demons that had prevented her from living a full and happy life. Have you ever heard the expression “when you hit rock bottom there’s no where else to go but up.” Well rock bottom became Kim's best friend. This was the solid strong starting point that changed the rest of her life. This is why parents need to be so careful with the words they use when speaking to their children, especially the foster and the adopted. Those simple words can have a life long effect on not only that child's future but the future of their children and grandchildren.

How Did He Do It?
Because, There Was No One On This Earth That Told Him He Could Not Do it.

Chapter 3
A Place Were Even Dreams Believe In You
Kim’s rock bottom moment occurred when her best friend ended his own life. This was the decisive moment that prompted her to evaluate her life. During her soul searching, she came across Newton’s Third Law of Motion, “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Kim does not have much faith in the “G” word but what she does have faith in is science and facts. She figured, what better facts than the wisdom of real life experiences. So, the only book she had available at that time was the “B” word. This book had plenty stories of life experiences.
Kim thinks, if “G” is real then why hasn't he answered any of my past prayers. So, she Googled verses that had to do with prayers. She will never forget that one sentence she absorbed into every cell in her body: “You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."
She knows she has made a lot of selfish decisions in her past. As a result, her actions have lead her into situations where she had to make choices out of pure survival. Being alone in this in this world can make a person very cruel and self absorbed.
Do to her painful abusive past, she was brought up to feel not worthy of anything good. So you see, these beliefs were imprinted, programmed, branded into how she saw in herself. These interpretations lead her to believing that she did not have the power to live nor have the right to have and enjoy her dreams. She got back up, dusted off her pants, and began to set a goals again but this time she believed she was worthy. And, this is how she fought to make her dreams last.

I just can't keep living this way,
So starting today,
I'm breaking out of this cage,
I'm standing up, I'm going to face my demons, I'm manning up, I'm going to hold my ground, I've had enough, now I'm so fed up, Time to put my life back together right now!

Chapter 4
"GETTING RID OF THE BAGGAGE AND RAISING THE BAR"
Kim repeated over and over again, “I am worthy, I am worthy,” that was the day she took action by raising the bar and began her new journey. This time she went to the other side of her goals, by simply enjoying the fruits of her labor. You see, she never actually enjoyed all the greatness her goals had to offer, because she was programmed to believe she did not deserve greatness.
“I'm not afraid.”
She grabbed her tablet, keys, and phone headed to the gym sat on the stationary bike and began her exercise routine. She opened her tablet and started making a list of all the people she will no longer allow in her life. She began the difficult task of deciding which family members and friends she needed to distance herself from. Feeling overwhelmed because she was afraid to be alone again, she shouted, "Oh Ya, I have a family!" Fuck that, "No haters allowed anymore!
She made another list describing the kind of people she was going to allow in her life. She wrote, “I want to surround myself with people who can respect my beliefs, accept who I am, and people who live a happy and spiritual life.
Kim finished her exercising, went home and fantasized about her upcoming journey. What an amazing enjoyable journey it was going to be.
Since Kim has been paralyzed by her emotions for the past twenty plus years, she found herself alone for the next three years. During that time, Kim had accomplished a lot and became her own support, motivator, and best friend. She truly learned who she really is, not the person others defined her to be.
There was literally wasn't anyone in her life anymore with harmful intentions." When she did encounter someone that didn't meet her standards, she would literally just get up and walk away and say "I only have another twenty or so healthy years left, so I really don't have time for that nonsense anymore." "I just want to finally enjoy my life." She was amazed when things eventually started to just fall in place, she couldn't accept it at first, she even convinced herself she was experiencing supernatural phenomenon from her friend who has passed.
You see, unwanted children hardly experience true luck. They don't think they are worthy of luck either, as a result, they are unaware they are their own luck. Like the Glinda the good witch of the North said in the movie The Wizard of Oz to Dorothy, "You had the power all along, my dear."
She pondered over this winning streak, then she recalled, "Oh ya, "my motives and Newtons Law, these are the positive consequences of my new actions,” and she smiled and said, "I really do have the power."
